A new omakase concept is taking over a space at 346 West 52nd St., according to recent community board filings.

Owner Ben Yu told What Now New York that the space will be about 800 square feet and will feature a modern design. Community board filings indicate plans for one stand-up bar with 20 seats.

The proposed menu in the paperwork features a $69 omakase concept with 12 pieces and one hand roll and a $100 omakase experience with two appetizers, 15 pieces and one torotaku hand roll. There also will be options for add-ons.

The proposed hours of operation are 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Yu is aiming for a September opening.

“It’s right by Times Square and there will be a lot of hotels and tourists in the area. I think it will  be successful for the community and for us,” Yu said.
