The pizzeria is a well-known spot among San Diego residents. A routine health inspection was conducted at the outlet on Monday. The inspecting officials observed that food was not kept in safe and unadulterated conditions.

Inspectors also noted that the food safety manager’s certification had expired. Food employees at the outlet did not possess a valid food handler training certificate. The report mentions that non-food contact surfaces were not cleaned and sanitized as per the required frequency to avoid dirt accumulation.

Damaged and broken tiles on the floors and walls were also observed during the inspection. Inspectors reported an active rodent infestation that could contaminate food contact surfaces.
