Sweet Swirls Creamery is ready to sprinkle flavor in Hanahan Crossing this summer.

The locally owned soft serve shop will open at 100 Tanner Ford Blvd., promising to “bring swirls, sweet toppings and smiles to the Lowcountry,” according to the shop’s website.

Sweet Swirls offers a variety of frozen treats, including soft serve in chocolate, vanilla or twist made with a premium 10 percent mix, as well as rotating dairy-free Dole fruit flavors.

The menu features sundaes topped with sauces, whipped cream and a cherry, along with the Arctic Swirl, which blends soft serve with candies, cookies or other mix-ins. Milkshakes made with soft serve and classic flavors round out the lineup.

While an exact opening date has not yet been determined, the shop’s Facebook page reads, “We’re thrilled to announce that Sweet Swirls Creamery–your soon-to-be favorite Hanahan ice cream shop–is opening Summer 2025.”

For updates on the grand opening, visit the Sweet Swirls Creamery website and follow the shop on Instagram and Facebook.
