Rooster’s Wood-Fired Kitchen has a new location on the way. The concept, part of Jim Noble’s portfolio, will head to a 6,800-square-foot space at Sadler Square in Davidson, according to the Charlotte Business Journal. The concept is expected to open at the shopping center in June 2026.
Rooster’s Wood-Fired Kitchen currently has four locations: Uptown, Southpark, Ballantyne and Winston-Salem. This would be the fifth location for the brand.
The concept, which was established in 1992, changes its menu often depending on seasonal ingredients.
“Our seasonally-inspired menu is a tribute to all the craftsmen, artisans and small local farmers with whom we have built strong relationships over the years,” the Rooster’s website states.
It features a brunch, lunch and dinner menu. The shifting menu is structured around staples like classic rotisserie chicken, mac and cheese, and Chef Noble’s coconut cake.
Noble Food & Pursuits has been expanding throughout the area. In addition to Rooster’s, the hospitality group features concepts like Copain Bakery & Provisions, Noble Smoke, Bossy Beulah’s Chicken Shack, The Jimmy and Field Pea Catering. The group’s philanthropic pursuits include 10 Million Meals To Go and the Charlotte Mecklenburg Dream Center.
Piedmont Capital purchased Sadler Square and has been leading the shopping center through major exterior and interior renovations that have been ongoing for months. An update in May suggested that tenant announcements and openings would begin in the second half of 2025 and continue through the start of 2026.
