Denver’s beloved Sunnyside Music Festival is set to amaze the local community in the Sunnyside neighborhood on Saturday, September 13. Continuing the tradition of the last 25 years, local bands/artists from Denver will light up the musical event with their live performances.
Festival-goers can browse clothes, jewelry, and crafts from more than 30 local artisan vendors, and enjoy local food trucks serving a variety of treats.
Open to all ages, a dedicated Kids Area will offer play-based experiences for Denver families.
Venue and Parking
he 25th Sunnyside Music Festival takes place at Chaffee Park, 1901 W. 43rd Ave., on the corner of 43rd and Shoshone
Those planning to attend should note that the following streets will be closed on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.:
- Shoshone St. from W. 43rd Ave. to W. 45th Ave
- W. 44th Ave at Shoshone, ending at the alley before Raritan
- W. 45th Ave from Tejon to Shoshone
Attendees should avoid parking on these streets during the closures on Saturday, September 13.
The 2025 Lineup of the Festival
Sunnyside Music Festival 2025 will kick off with a free yoga session with Better Buzz. The timing is from 11:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.
The music kicks off with Jesh Yancey & The High Hopes performing their soulful set from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Other performances will include mesmerizing musical presentations by Ritmo Cascabel, Joe Smith & The Spicy Pickles, Zimbira, and Root Beer Richie & The Reveille.

In addition to live music, the festival’s free Kids Area offers a full day of activities for children. From 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., kids can participate in airbrush tattoos, bookmobile, climbing wall, story time, arts & crafts, and field day activities.
The Sunnyside Music Festival’s organizers have suggested that attendees carry their own rain gear. Attendees planning to bring tents should secure them with weights, as stakes are not permitted.
The Denver music festival organizers don’t allow outside liquor. Those buying drinks at the venue should have their IDs.
