Picture being on a plush leather couch, cigar in one hand and drink in the other, surrounded by a relaxed, upscale vibe. The scene soon becomes reality in North Charleston.
Luxe Cigar Lounge, owned by Calvin Jenkins, is relocating to 5101 Ashley Phosphate Road, bringing its premium cigars and luxury to a new setting.
“A new era of luxury is arriving in North Charleston. Something the city has never experienced…unfolding at our all-new LUXE location. Opening soon,” the lounge shared via Facebook.
The new space will feature a full bar with elegant glassware for fine spirits and specialty cocktails, along with TVs mounted above the bar to catch any big game. The lounge will also offer live entertainment with a Baby Grand Piano, “adding that smooth, soulful touch to your cigar and cocktail experience,” a post read.
Luxe will have a full kitchen, serving elevated small bites and appetizers.
The lounge approaches its cigar selection with expertise, ensuring each cigar is carefully preserved.
“When it comes to cigars, proper humidification isn’t optional — it’s essential. We’ve had our electrician, plumber, and myself in and out of the humidor room nonstop — making sure everything is dialed in just right. We’re not cutting any corners when it comes to preserving the freshness and quality of our cigars. Why? Because when you step into our lounge, we want every draw to be smooth, flavorful, and just how the master rollers intended,” a Facebook post read.
Don’t live in North Charleston? Luxe also offers a mobile cigar lounge for events, private parties and corporate gatherings. The mobile lounge maintains the same upscale experience, featuring comfortable seating, a curated selection of premium cigars and a built-in ventilation system.
