LJS Associates LLC has filed for Chapter 11 under Subchapter V, in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida, Jacksonville Division. Attorney Rehan N. Khawaja filed the voluntary petition on behalf of the company.
According to Pacer, the petition includes required documents such as Schedules, a Summary of Schedules, a Statement of Financial Affairs, and a Disclosure of Compensation. The company’s Chapter 11 Subchapter V plan is due by February 1, 2026.
The company also submitted a corporate ownership statement outlining its management structure. A Certificate of Authorization confirmed that company management approved the bankruptcy filing.
The court also directed the debtor’s attorney to follow Local Rule 2081-1, which outlines procedural requirements for Chapter 11 cases in the district.
However, state business records do not appear to support those claims. Records show the firm was registered as a limited liability company in Florida on May 30, 2023.
