Lincoln is about to get a new spot to eat, drink, and catch the game.

According to a recent Facebook update from owner Brett Shaffer, Legacy Sports Bar & Grill is opening at 825 Twelve Bridges Dr, Suite 70, taking over the former home of The 12 Wine Bar & Kitchen in the Lincoln Village at Twelve Bridges retail center. The former tenant appears to have quietly closed its doors a couple of months ago.

Shaffer, who also runs Epic Sports Cards in Sterling Pointe Center (selling everything from sports cards to Pokémon collectibles), is excited to bring new energy to the space. “We are indeed opening a sports bar and grill in Twelve Bridges,” he told What Now Sacramento. “We are going to have good food, good service, and a great atmosphere.”

While an official menu hasn’t been finalized, Shaffer said he plans to keep it simple and approachable, with offerings designed to appeal to students from nearby Twelve Bridges High School, as well as families and residents from Lincoln and surrounding areas.

“Welcome to our family-owned Sports Bar & Grill, where the local community comes first! We’re proud to be a neighborhood favorite—a place where friends, families, and fans can kick back, enjoy great food, and catch all the big games in a warm, welcoming atmosphere,” reads the eatery’s Google Business page. “Our menu features delicious, crowd-pleasing classics made with care, from juicy burgers and wings to fresh salads and hearty comfort food. Whether you’re here for a casual lunch, a fun night out, or to cheer on your favorite team, we’ve got plenty of TVs, cold drinks, and friendly service that make every visit feel like home. Good food, great vibes, and the best company—come see why our community loves us!”

The team hopes to launch Legacy in the coming weeks and is currently hiring servers, cooks, and bussers. Interested candidates can DM Shaffer on Facebook or apply directly via Indeed.
