Urijah Faber’s Ultimate Fitness is bringing a new gym to Roseville, at 8801 Washington Blvd., Suite 103. The gym is already holding classes at a temporary spot two doors down while the permanent space is under construction. No finish date has been set for the build-out.
The gym will offer general fitness, physical therapy, kids classes and mixed martial arts programs for all levels, including kickboxing, boxing, wrestling and Brazilian jiu-jitsu. Faber told What Now Sacramento that the goal is a gym with something for everyone, serving the Roseville and Rocklin communities.
Ultimate Fitness is the Sacramento-area gym brand tied to Faber, a UFC Hall of Famer and former WEC featherweight champion. The Sacramento-area fighter, nicknamed “The California Kid,” founded Team Alpha Male, one of the most successful MMA teams in the sport, and was inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame in 2017. His Sacramento gym operates at 6700 Folsom Blvd., where it offers jiu-jitsu, MMA and conditioning classes. A free first class is available for newcomers.
Faber has been active in the Roseville-Rocklin area before. In 2016, he helped lead the grand opening of UFC Gym Rocklin at 6684 Lonetree Blvd., a roughly 10,000-square-foot facility with a 24-foot octagon, a bag room and a jiu-jitsu studio, where he taught a kickboxing class on opening night.
“Just very excited to bring a unique, world-class gym to the people of Roseville and Rocklin,” Urijah Faber told What Now Sacramento. “We have something for everyone: general fitness, physical therapy, kids classes, and world-class mixed martial arts classes for all levels. Kickboxing, boxing, wrestling, BJJ, etc.”
