Joe & The Juice, the juice and coffee bar that has become an international sensation, is opening a Boca Raton location.

The shop will open at Shadowood Square Shopping Center at 9887 Glades Road, which is being rebranded to, simply, Shadowood. RE Business confirmed that developer EDENS has signed a lease agreement with Joe and the Juice for a space at the center, located in West Boca. This addition is part of a major renovation of the entire center, which could take months, according to FAU’s Media Lab. An opening date has not yet been set.

In 2002, Kaspar Basse opened the first Joe & the Juice inside a clothing store in Copenhagen, Denmark. Inspired by the success of Starbucks, Basse felt he could surpass the coffee giant by offering bespoke juices in addition to coffee. The concept was a hit, and Joe & The Juice now has more than 400 locations globally, with reach across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and North America.

Stores offer a selection of specialty coffees, lattes, espressos, and other hot beverages. Signature blend juices are made with freshly squeezed fruits, vegetables, and herbs like carrot, apple, ginger, and cucumber. Options include the “Go Away Doc” that includes ginger, carrot, olive oil, and apple; and Joe’s Green Mile with avocado, lemon, spinach, apple, and kiwi.  Joe & The Juice also offers bowls, sandwiches, shakes, and smoothies.
