The ownership behind The Ripple Room at the Bowery is bringing a new bar and lounge concept to 31-33 Second Avenue in the East Village, according to community board filings. The spot’s name has not been announced yet.

The bar is expected to span the ground floor and basement, featuring 26 tables with 103 seats and a bar on each level, with a total of 25 bar seats.

In addition to The Ripple Room, the team is behind Carousel, Lou’s Athletic Club, Carmelo’s, Birdy’s Bar and Old Stanley’s Bar in Bushwick, as well as Twins Lounge in Greenpoint and The Coyote Club in Bed-Stuy.

The proposed menu features items such as soup dumplings, pork buns and scallion pancakes, according to community board filings.

The proposed hours of operation for the forthcoming spot are 8 a.m. to 2 a.m. daily. As of now, an opening timeline remains unclear.
