Luna Grill, a California-based Mediterranean grill known for fresh, made-to-order meals, is getting ready to open a new location in Chula Vista at 555 Broadway, Suite 135.
The company’s newest location will take over the former Jamba Juice location at Chula Vista Center, with an opening planned for the third or fourth quarter of 2026, according to company representatives. What Now recently reached out to Luna Grill, who shared that several other locations are also under development, including sites in Corona, San Clemente, Riverside, Pico Rivera, and Rancho Mission Viejo. Customers can expect the Chula Vista location to feature the brand’s signature menu of Mediterranean-inspired kabobs, salads, bowls, and freshly prepared sides.
Founded in 2004 by Sean and Maria Pourteymour, Luna Grill aims to provide families with healthier, wholesome options made with fresh ingredients and responsibly raised proteins. The chain now operates more than 50 restaurants across California and Texas, expanding steadily in both metropolitan and suburban markets.
The Chula Vista location will be a 1,449-square-foot space in a busy shopping center at Broadway and H Street, offering a convenient option for both residents and mall visitors. This will be an excellent landing space for Luna Grill, given the area’s mix of retail traffic and nearby residential neighborhoods. Luna Grill emphasizes non-GMO ingredients, responsibly raised meats, and dishes made fresh to order over an open flame. Customers can expect Mediterranean favorites, including grilled chicken, lamb kabobs, fresh salads, and a variety of healthy sides, all designed to provide nutritious, convenient meals for everyday dining.
