Locally Owned and Operated
“I fell in love with Ann Arbor when I moved here for graduate school and never left – I even raised my children here!” said Mueller in a statement. “My passion for Michigan and hospitality run deep: I’m one of four generations of University of Michigan alums in my family, held a leadership role at the university, and started as a Chick-fil-A Team Member at 15. My goal is to create a restaurant that cares for and gives back to the community that means so much to my family, a place where everyone feels welcome and at home.”
More About Mueller
- Originally from Grosse Ile, Michigan, Mueller’s first job was with Chick-fil-A after her family moved to Atlanta, Georgia. She quickly worked her way up to leadership positions, earning a Team Member Scholarship Award in recognition of her dedication and positive impact.
- After earning her undergraduate degree in marketing, Mueller moved to Ann Arbor to pursue an MBA at the University of Michigan, where she met her husband and built lasting ties to the community.
- Following graduation, Mueller went on to hold several marketing roles, including serving as managing director of the university’s Executive MBA program, an experience that strengthened her bond with the community and equipped her to give back in meaningful ways.
Cows Eat Free to Celebrate Chick-fil-A Ann Arbor-Washtenaw
To celebrate the restaurant moo-ving into town, cows will eat free on opening day! Mueller and her team are inviting the community to show off their cow spots on opening day for one free entrée.
- Since 1995, the Cows have been a beloved part of Chick-fil-A, encouraging humans to skip burgers and “Eat More Chikin” – and now it’s Ann Arbor’s turn to join the herd.
- Guests dressed in cow print – whether it’s a full cow costume or a simple cow-spotted accessory – can enjoy one free entrée* in person inside the restaurant.
Caring for the Ann Arbor Community
Mueller is committed to giving back to the Ann Arbor community by:
- Celebrating the opening with a $25,000 donation from Chick-fil-A, Inc. to Feeding America to support local hunger relief efforts of Food Gatherers, a Feeding America partner food bank, in honor of the new restaurant.
- Participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofits, helping to create over 42 million meals nationwide to date.
