A new coffee shop looks to be going in next to Metropol Bakery.

Staff of Kingdom Koffee have taken to social media to announce their new shop coming to 2540 Willamette Street. This is the first concept from the owners who are locals to the Eugene area. They were originally hoping to open at Christmas, but with the status of construction that looks to be delayed.

The cafe comes from Jessica Kalashnikov, who also runs a photography business in Oregon. This is a venture she is pursuing with members of her family. When contacted, Kalashnikov did not yet respond for comment.

Not much is known about the menu, but typical brews like lattes and cappuccinos can be expected. The official menu will be released as construction on the business progresses.

Kingdom Koffee is joining the plaza with Metropol Bakery, as well as Wingstop. Jade Dumpling & Noodle House is at the plaza across from the coffee shop, and the neighborhood is on the south side of Eugene.
