One of the nation’s most lauded pizzerias is bringing its celebrated pies to Maryland diners. Sally’s Apizza has a slew of new stores in the pipeline and several of them are going into the Old Line State, reports local media outlet MoCo Show.

The brand-Dave Portnoy of Barstool Sports calls it his favorite-hasn’t announced specific locations or neighborhoods it hopes to move into yet, however it is signed on to open 15 storefronts across Maryland. Similarly, a timeline is not presently publically available for when the restaurants will be greeting diners, so residents will need to exercise patience. What Now DC will be monitoring the expansion plans and will keep readers updated as details are made public.

Sally’s Apizza flipped its first pie in New Haven, Connecticut in 1938. The brand is currently pursuing a period of active growth and expansion; the website explains why so many markets-the DMV included-are so enthusiastic to welcome the restaurant, saying: “We hand-craft authentic New Haven pizza in custom designed ovens, using the original recipes. Famous for our distinctive tomato sauce and chewy, crispy crust with an iconic oven-kissed char, Sally’s draws pizza fans from around the world.”
