Parker’s Kitchen continues its planned growth with a new location in the early stages of development.

Plans call for an eight-pump gas station and a 5,204-square-foot convenience store at 510 Everly St. by Towne at Cooper River, according to business filings.

Daniel Ben-Yisrael, real estate development manager for Parker’s, previously told What Now Charleston the company plans to open 25 new stores across the Lowcountry in the next four years. Proposed locations include Charleston, Dorchester, Horry and Conway counties.

While vehicles are being fueled, appetites can be too—Parker’s is more than just a gas station. The food-forward convenience store blends southern-style cooking with a modern retail experience.

The menu includes breakfast favorites such as fish and grits, casseroles, biscuits and gravy, and breakfast sandwiches and burritos. Parker’s is also known for its hand-breaded chicken, available as tenders, sandwiches or family meals. Other offerings include fried pork chops, catfish, liver and gizzards.

Founded by Greg Parker in 1976, Parker’s Kitchen has grown to more than 100 stores across Georgia and South Carolina.

An official debut date has not yet been announced.
