A miniature doughnut franchise is opening its first California location in the Sacramento area.
According to the Sacramento Business Journal, Dapper Doughnut is opening a 1,388-square-foot location at 2330 Sunset Boulevard, Suite 120 in Rocklin’s Stanford Plaza, a bustling retail center at the corner of Sunset Boulevard and Stanford Ranch Road.
The franchise’s website lists the Rocklin shop as “coming soon,” and Instagram posts from @dapperdoughnutnorcal show the keys and empty space, teasing the upcoming opening: “Dapper is coming to…… ROCKLIN, CA 👀🍩”
Founded in 2015, Dapper Doughnut specializes in hot, fresh, made-to-order mini doughnuts in a variety of classic and creative flavors, including Maple Bacon, Fluffernutter, Birthday Cake, Apple Pie, and Chocolate Sprinkles.
Beyond the signature doughnuts, the menu features specialty desserts like Doughnut Milkshakes, Doughnut Ice Cream, parfaits, sundaes, and affogato, alongside a selection of coffee and tea beverages.
While the company did not respond to requests for comment, business filings reveal that the Rocklin location will be franchised by Amandeep Singh and Jasreet Barn, who appear poised to operate both a storefront and a food trailer.
No official opening timeline has been announced, but What Now Sacramento has reached out to the franchisees and will update this page as more information becomes available.
