Denver International Airport (DEN) celebrated the opening of Mile High Gameday, the first retail store dedicated to hometown sports apparel.
“Colorado is widely recognized as a premier sports state and is home to some of the nation’s most passionate fans. So, it’s very exciting to welcome Mile High Gameday to DEN,” DEN CEO Phil Washington said in a statement. “We know that local fans and those traveling through DEN will love having the ability to support their favorite team.”
Mile High Gameday will be a destination for travelers attending sporting events, visiting Denver, or looking for gifts. Home to eight major sports teams, including professional football, baseball, hockey, basketball, rugby, and men and women’s soccer, Mile High Gameday‘s authentic, licensed team apparel and merchandise will represent all that Colorado has to offer and will bring a uniquely Colorado retail experience to DEN.
“Mile High Gameday was created to celebrate the incredible sports culture that defines Colorado, and there is no better place to share that pride than Denver International Airport,” Mile High Gameday Founder Keith Montoya said. “DEN welcomes millions of travelers each year, and we are thrilled to offer them a true taste of the teams, traditions, and energy that make our state so special. As a Colorado native and lifelong sports fan, bringing this concept to life at DEN is a dream come true.”
Mile High Gameday’s licensed merchandise will include (but is not limited to):
- Home team merchandise includes jerseys, hats, accessories, collectibles, and apparel for Colorado’s favorite teams (NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, NCAA, MLS, NWSL).
- Competing team and event merchandise, including gear from visiting teams and major global events like the 2026 World Cup.
- Local makers with artisan goods, accessories, and unique Colorado-made products including The Duck Company – Colorado-grown apparel known for localized designs and TwoHype, licensed NBA and NBPA apparel created by CU Boulder alumni.
- Traveler-friendly gifts, including edible Colorado items, quick-purchase souvenirs, and easy-to-pack accessories.
- Pet apparel with jerseys and accessories designed for dogs and cats of all sizes.
Mile High Gameday is located on Concourse B near gates B31 and B45.
