Renee’s Family Breakfast, LLC has filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy, aiming to liquidate its assets. The popular breakfast spot in downtown Nappanee, Indiana, announced the move after closing its doors last month.

​According to the case related details on PACER, Renee’s Family Breakfast, LLC made a voluntary filing on February 11. The breakfast place’s Chapter 7 proceedings are taking place in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Indiana.​

Permanent Closure Precedes the Bankruptcy​

The news regarding the Chapter 7 bankruptcy of Renee’s Family Breakfast, LLC arrived a month after it announced a permanent closure. On January 9, the breakfast staple served its last meal, marking the end of its operations in Nappanee.
