Common Table, an Asian-fusion restaurant from San Diego owners Nate Cadsap and Megan Ly, is returning to North Park at 3926 30th Street inside the Coin-Op Game Room.

The new location will use the kitchen space within Coin-Op, according to San Diego Magazine. Common Table’s takeover begins March 11, 2026, providing the restaurant with a more manageable space after its original 30th Street location closed in January. Customers can expect the menu to include katsu sandos, Taiwanese popcorn chicken, a new salad, a smashburger with fries, handheld foods for gaming, and possibly late-night hot dogs.

The restaurant originally opened as Common Table in the former Sipz Vegetarian Kitchen space on 30th Street in fall 2025, following a successful pop-up run under the name 86’d. What Now previously reported on the 86’d pop-up, noting its focus on Asian-inspired sandwiches, tacos, and small plates, and its reception from the San Diego community.

86’d debuted in July 2024, offering dishes based on Cadsap and Ly’s favorite Asian flavors, including a katsu-style chicken sandwich and Asian-inspired tacos. Both owners bring experience from local restaurants, including Yokohama Yakitori Koubou, Underbelly, and Animae. The new North Park location continues its focus on neighborhood dining and maintaining a presence in San Diego’s culinary scene.

The Coin-Op space will host menu items designed for casual, walk-in service and gaming guests, with expanded versions of 86’d favorites. Offerings include small plates like fried shisito peppers, dessert items, and eventually wine, beer, sake, and soju. Operating hours at Coin-Op will be Wednesday–Thursday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Friday 5 p.m. to midnight, Saturday 2 p.m. to midnight, and Sunday 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., with a grand opening planned after St. Patrick’s Day 2026.
