A new lounge and restaurant is headed to Baton Rouge, according to a liquor license application filed with the City of Baton Rouge. The new place, filed as Peyton Place Lounge and Restaurant, will open on 1533 N Acadian Thruway, which formerly housed The J Spot Bar & Lounge.

Owned by Baton Rouge local Keaira Pate, Peyton Place Lounge has been a long time coming, formed in March 2021. “With a relaxed atmosphere and friendly service, Payton’s Place provides a casual dining experience for those looking for a comforting meal,” its MapQuest page reads.

Details about the exact offerings at Peyton Place Lounge are scarce, like its opening date and menu offerings. What Now New Orleans has reached out to Pate for more information about the upcoming bar.
