“Where Heritage Meets High Art,” says the website of AnTeNa Kitchen, a fine-dining Indian restaurant opening in Leander at the end of the month. AnTeNa will be “a bridge from the heart of India to the soul of North America. Experience Indian culinary truth, refined for the modern palate.”
The name brings together the three culinary regions that mingle in AnTeNa’s menu: Andhra, Telangana, and North America.
Coverage by Community Impact notes that AnTeNa was originally expected to launch toward the end of 2025. Now, on Friday, What Now confirmed with owner Anil Annepu that the opening is expected at the end of March, leaving time to train its newly hired staff. Expect an opening on March 27 or 28, Annepu said.
A menu provided by Annepu shows dishes categorized by protein. There are Vegetarian dishes like Golden Brussels sprouts tossed in aromatic garlic ghee and roasted chana dal spice; Chicken & Egg dishes like Creamed Malai Chicken Bites with Mint Essence; Lamb & Goat dishes like Bone-in goat bites roasted and glazed with chili-infused ghee; and Shrimp & Fish dishes like Tangy Shrimp Tempura with sorrel reduction.
“Every dish is a balance of regional truth and elevated execution, inviting you into a space where heritage meets modern elegance and every detail is an intentional act of hospitality,” the website says.
AnTeNa Kitchen will open at 2080 US-183, Suite 130.
