Made from scratch, served from the heart,” Chicken Salad Chick is your perfect spot for classic and new takes on chicken salad. With a menu featuring a selection of chicken salads, plus salads, sides, and soups, it’s a mainstay for Southern-style favorites.

As the brand continues to expand in the Austin area, with franchisee Meauxmentum Strategies and Investments at work on an 11-unit expansion, Chicken Salad Chick’s next stop is in Leander, where a recent TDLR filing shows an opening in the works at 1060 Hero Way, Building 2.

It’s a new construction of a 2,582-square-foot restaurant with an estimated cost of $850,000. Construction is expected to start in May. The new Chicken Salad Chicks’ tentative opening date is August 11, a representative told What Now on Friday. It will offer dine-in, delivery, pick-up, and catering, with catering services launching in September.

Chicken Salad Chick serves up meals like The Chick, served with your choice of any Scoop or Sandwich, plus choice of Fresh Sides like Broccoli Salad, Grape Salad, Pasta Salad, and Fresh Fruit. Its Chicken Salad varieties include Barbie Q, the Classic Carol (Our signature chicken salad that got it all started – all white meat, shredded chicken, finely minced celery, mayonnaise & our secret seasoning), and Cranberry Kelli (A mixture of dried, sweetened cranberries & slivered almonds).

“Chicken Salad Chick was founded in 2008 by Stacy and Kevin Brown in Auburn, Alabama,” says the Chicken Salad Chick website. “Over time, they refined their recipe, turning their love for chicken salad into a thriving business. Today, Chicken Salad Chick stands proudly as the nation’s only fast-casual restaurant concept dedicated exclusively to fresh made chicken salad, offering a variety of flavors, along with sandwiches, fresh sides, gourmet soups, and delectable desserts.”
