The filing is part of the company’s effort to reorganize as post-acute care providers face ongoing financial challenges.

The debtor formally turned to bankruptcy on April 23, 2026. Case filings were submitted through PACER.

Proceedings are currently taking place in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey.

The filing comes as the industry shifts toward home-based care, while skilled nursing providers face rising labor costs and persistently low margins.

According to McKinsey, home health care has grown at an annual rate of 6% since 2024 and is expected to continue through 2029, while nursing facility growth remains flat. Shorter patient stays, rising labor costs, and reimbursement pressures continue to impact post-acute care providers, including the company.
