A fast-growing Philadelphia-born stir-fry chain is continuing its push into Greater Boston.
Honeygrow is preparing to open a new location at 1775 Washington St in Hanover Crossing, a company representative confirmed with What Now Boston. While an official opening date has not been set, the restaurant is targeting a debut in mid-second quarter 2026.
The upcoming Hanover outpost follows recent local openings in Allston Yards and Shrewsbury, adding to a steadily expanding Massachusetts footprint that already includes locations in the Seaport, Fenway, and Peabody’s Northshore Mall.
Founded in 2012 by Justin Rosenberg, Honeygrow was born from a desire to bring fresh, high-quality ingredients and transparency to the fast-casual space. What started as a single Philadelphia storefront has grown into a 60-plus-unit brand across the East Coast and Midwest.
The menu centers on fully customizable stir-fry bowls, allowing guests to choose from a range of noodles, proteins, vegetables, and house-made sauces, as well as salads and sides. With gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan, and high-protein options, the offerings are designed to suit a variety of dietary preferences.
Beyond savory fare, guests can choose from a variety of “Honeybars,” or customizable layered dessert bowls featuring toppings like fruit, granola, whipped cream, and drizzles of honey. Popular picks include the Banana Pudding, Cheesecake, and Brownie Crumble Honeybars.
Permits reveal that the roughly 2,300-square-foot restaurant will seat 68 guests, with daily hours planned from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. The representative said that additional details about the Hanover location will be shared as the project progresses, so keep an eye out for updates.
