A Berlin, Massachusetts-based ramen concept is making its way to Sudbury.

Ramen Haven is planning its second location at 530A Boston Post Rd, taking over the former Paani Indian Cuisine space. Permitting is already underway, and local approvals are in progress.

The original restaurant opened in Berlin back in September and quickly drew crowds with its rich, flavorful ramen. The menu features nearly a dozen varieties, including Tonkotsu Ramen and Spicy Miso Ramen, alongside rice bowls and popular starters like gyoza and edamame. The Sudbury menu will expand to include elevated dishes such as Lobster Ramen, Uni Ramen, and Wagyu rice bowls.

“Our ‘Must Try’ dish is definitely the Signature Tonkotsu Ramen,” a company representative told What Now Boston. “We simmer the broth for over 10 hours to get it really rich and creamy… We’ve also put a lot of heart into a new vegan menu, so there’s something for everyone.”

Beyond savory fare, Ramen Haven leans heavily into sweet treats, offering desserts such as matcha crepe cake and tiramisu, as well as an expansive drink menu featuring milk teas, fruit slushes, and yogurt-based beverages.

The Sudbury restaurant will seat approximately 60 guests in a space styled with a modern, dark Japanese aesthetic—”refined but welcoming,” according to the representative.

Ramen Haven is slated to open on May 1, 2026, with a soft opening planned beforehand. Permits indicate that the eatery will serve alcohol and operate daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
