A sushi spot is on a roll, expanding to Moncks Corner with a second location.

Rollin Local, founded by Jamie Wirth Finley in 2017, is set to open at 108 E. Railroad Ave. The new spot will join the restaurant’s flagship location in Georgetown, according to a Facebook post.

“We can’t wait to serve this amazing community, share some of our favorite rolls, and meet so many new faces. Coming back to where I grew up makes this even more special to me. Big things are coming—stay tuned!” the post read.

Rollin Local’s menu blends sushi, hibachi and coastal comfort food, offering a wide range of options with locally sourced ingredients.

Starters include crab wontons, fried green tomatoes, bang bang shrimp and tuna tataki, alongside salads and poke bowls. The sushi selection features classic rolls such as California, spicy tuna and Philly, as well as specialty house rolls, plus nigiri and sashimi.

Bento boxes and hibachi entrees include steak, chicken, shrimp and scallops, while additional offerings range from tacos and wraps to a burger and club sandwich. Dinner plates lean coastal, with flounder, shrimp, oysters and a seafood platter.

The spring cocktail menu features specialty cocktails, including the Blackberry Blossom, Raspberry Rose Spritz, Honey Bee Mule, Hoppin’ Margarita and Spring Flower Gimlet.

The Moncks Corner location is set to bring some flair.

“We’re bringing a little Costa Rica to Moncks Corner. Big flavors. Fresh vibes,” another post read.

Rollin Sushi is currently hiring for a range of positions. Open roles include hostesses, bartenders, dishwashers, servers and bus staff for morning and evening shifts, along with an evening manager; interested applicants can apply onsite April 9 from noon to 5 p.m.

No official opening date has been announced, but visit the website and follow the restaurant on Facebook for the latest updates.
