Last week, the Jacksonville Daily Record reported that the seventh area outpost of Keke’s Breakfast Cafe has entered the permitting phase. It’s planned for North Jacksonville’s River City Marketplace.

Serving up “Fresh Food, Made to Order,” Keke’s Breakfast Cafe is a breakfast brand that believes “everyone deserves a fresh start. Whether that means a fresh start to the day or a new chapter in life, our dedication to starting each new day extends beyond the plate,” says the Keke’s website.

The menu features all your favorite breakfast classics: waffles, pancakes, French toast, omelets, and Stuffed French Toast in varieties like Apple Cinnamon, Banana Caramel Pecan, and Stuffed French Toast with Nutella. On the lunch side, you’ll find paninis like the Cheese Steak Panini and the Italian Chicken Panini, plus other handhelds like the B.L.T., the Bacon Cheeseburger, and the Carolina Chicken Wrap.

Opening at River City Marketplace, Keke’s Breakfast Cafe will join a food and drink community that includes restaurants like ELEON Pizza & Pastry, Chick-fil-A, Panda Express, Chipotle Mexican Grill, and Carabba’s Italian Grill.
