Memphis diners are getting a fresh taste of the celebrated Mediterranean diet. Taziki’s Mediterranean Cafe is planning a new regional location in Collierville, reports Daily Memphian.
The concept will be joining the Water Tower District at Schilling Farms in a 2,581-square-foot storefront. Taziki’s franchisee and director of marketing in Memphis Jamie Riddle explains that while an opening date isn’t available yet, the brand is excited about feeding hungry Collierville residents. He states: “We do not have an official date yet. We look forward to serving this awesome community.”
Taziki’s already has a relatively strong presence in the greater Memphis area; the Collierville store will be its fifth regional location, joining spaces in Arlington, Bartlett, East Memphis, and Germantown.
However, Memphis diners who have not yet sampled the chain’s fare may find themselves wondering just what lies in store. Novices and existing fans alike can look forward to fresh, delicious Mediterranean fare-the website offers this sneak peak: “We serve real, honest food. Prioritizing fresh, minimally processed ingredients and making your food to order are core principles for us. We are passionate about offering the vibrant flavors of the Mediterranean in an approachable way. Our dishes let the quality of wholesome components like olive oil, herbs, and seasonal produce shine through without unnecessary complexity.”
