Monday Morning is expanding its non-alcoholic offerings with plans to open a new production brewery in San Diego in May. The site, located at 1784 La Costa Meadows Dr. #103, will open in the former Creative Creature Brewing space, owner Zane Curtis told WhatNow.
Founded in 2024, the business emerged after Curtis sought to bring the experience of San Diego’s craft beer culture into a non-alcoholic setting, focusing on alcohol-free beers, wines, and spirits. “People still want that same experience—the quality, the creativity, the culture—but without the alcohol,” Curtis said.
This led to the opening of the county’s first non-alcoholic bottle shop, followed by a second location in January 2026. All beverages produced on-site will be available at Monday Morning’s retail locations, including its current shops in Pacific Beach and Ocean Beach, according to SD Beer News.
According to its Instagram page, demand for non-alcoholic beverages is outpacing the infrastructure needed to support it, prompting Curtis to move into manufacturing and opening his own brewery with a team of three veteran brewers.
Once operational, the location will eventually introduce non-alcoholic draft offerings brewed on-site, including its in-process Haymaker N/A IPA, Curtis said. An exact timeline for this taproom has not yet been announced. This location will also operate as a contract brewery, allowing other companies to produce, package, and distribute non-alcoholic beverages using Monday Morning’s facilities.
Currently working with 45 bars and restaurants, Curtis said the company continues to partner with establishments looking to strengthen their non-alcoholic offerings. “A lot of operators are leaving money on the table,” he said. “These establishments need to create an experience for their customers, and we can show them how to do that.”
