A new Asian fast-casual option is heading to South End this summer. Three Lanterns will bring a fusion of three different cuisines: Japanese, Vietnamese and Indian.

“Inspired by Asia’s vibrant food culture, we’ve created a platform where bold flavors meet sophisticated cooking techniques,” an Instagram announcement states. “Join us on this culinary journey and taste the difference!”

Hervé Laveaud, who has more than 20 years of experience in the culinary industry, is behind the venture focused on global flavors served in a casual atmosphere. It appears that the brand is launching its first location in Charlotte with plans to scale the model and use the Charlotte kitchen to support satellite locations and catering, as well.

Menu items will include breakfast offerings such as bao with soft eggs, banh mi sandwiches, rice power bowls, onigiri and Asian iced coffee. Other offerings will include tandoori chicken wraps, bhangra bowls, bombay chaat bowls, veggie roti wraps, sushi rolls and boba.
