Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant has a location on the way to the Charlotte market. It will join the CrossRidge Center at 2181 Parkway Drive, according to the Charlotte Business Journal.

CEO Tim McEnery launched Cooper’s Hawk in 2005, bringing an upscale casual concept focused on quality food and wine to the market. The winery and restaurant is “built upon the passionate belief that food and wine hold the power to forge lasting connections,” according to the website.

The brand offers a Napa-inspired wine experience, and the restaurant offers a curated list of global wines. The food menu features pasta, burgers, sandwiches and protein-based entrees like filet mignon, chicken picotta and red wine braised short ribs.

Based in Illinois, the brand has more than 70 locations open, with more on the way as the brand expands. Last year, Cooper’s Hawk announced plans to open in Greensboro and Cary. The Greensboro location is now open, marking the first location open in North Carolina. The Indian Land location will mark the first spot in South Carolina.

An opening timeline for the Indian Land location remains unclear at this time.
