Kura Revolving Sushi Bar is bringing a location to Charlotte. It will open at StoneCrest at Piper Glen shopping center in Ballantyne in the space that formerly belonged to Pearlz Oyster Bar, according to reporting by the Charlotte Observer.

This location will mark the first spot in North Carolina. The Kura website lists it as “coming soon,” though an exact timeline has not been announced yet.

The brand focuses on authentic Japanese ingredients including wasabi, vinegar and broth, sourced directly from Japan. Kura Revolving Sushi Bar currently has 89 locations across 22 states and Washington, D.C., with its strongest presence in California.

Menu items include sushi such as rolls, wraps and nigiri; sides such as sashimi, tempura and edamame; and noodles including udon and ramen.
