With brands like Buc-ee’s, Casey’s, and Parker’s Kitchen growing throughout the country, the gas-station-convenience-store-fast-food-restaurant combination is starting to look like a magic combination in increasingly fast-paced times.
And now, QuikTrip, with its QT Kitchens restaurant component, is stepping up its game in the Austin market by launching its first Generation 4 (“Gen 4”) store in the Austin area at 620 W Slaughter Ln in Southwest Austin.
According to coverage published this week by Community Impact, QuikTrip’s first Gen-4 Austin store will open in June 2027, “featuring the company’s new store design and expanded QT Kitchens offerings.”
QT Kitchens menus include breakfast choices like the Bacon, Egg & Cheese Biscuit; the Breakfast Pizza; and the Sausage, Egg & Cheese Scramble. Lunch and Dinner choices include BBQ Sandwiches with proteins like pulled pork and beef brisket; flatbread varieties like Chicken, Bacon, Ranch and Chicken & Cheese; and subs like the Big Italian Sub.
Opening in the West Slaughter Lane location, QuikTrip will join nearby restaurants like El Pollo Rico and Wicked Wings.
