A sweet and growing bakery will be setting up a new location-its 3rd in Dallas proper-to serve its guests. Susiecakes is bringing its delicious treats to a West Village storefront, a development certain to make local mouths water.

The bakery will be setting up its ovens in a storefront located at 3699 Mckinney Avenue, suite 318. Paperwork filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation pertaining to the location shows that Susiecakes will be occupying a renovated 1,156 square foot storefront.

Dates noted on TDLR paperwork are estimates and subject to change, however if all goes according to plan, construction will begin on July 7 and should be completed by September 7. While this does not provide a comprehensive or absolute opening timeline, it does give locals reason to be optimistic for a late autumn opening.

Susiecakes was founded in 2006 by Susan Sarich as a way to pay homage to her grandmothers. The bakery uses simple, straight-forward ingredients to craft its delectable treats, creating an unforgettable product that keeps customers coming back. The website explains: “We bake the best-tasting, timeless versions of your most-loved treats-all with simple, back to basics ingredients.”

Future Dallas regulars can look forward to indulging their sweet teeth with beloved favorites including cookies, cupcakes, and-of course-cakes. Susiecakes’ titular treat comes in a variety of beloved flavors, including classics like chocolate, strawberry, marble, and coconut.
