STIRR Ends Service in Addison
Popular modern American upscale restaurant, STIRR, announced its closure with a social media post. After six years of operations, the restaurant said goodbye to its Village on the Parkway location. STIRR developed its reputation as a ‘clubstuarant’ for mixing food service with a social and high-energy environment.
In a social media post, the team wrote, “STIRR has been a special place for us from the very beginning.”
The team added that the restaurant started as a concept, but it “turned into years of unforgettable moments, relationships, and memories.”
It was known for its high-end dining experience and nightlife scene. The two-level space featured a rooftop patio, large windows, and a lively bar area.
The restaurant team also thanked the community and customers for their support over the years.
Several fans shared heartwarming messages on social media, following the closure announcement.
What Led to the Closure
In the announcement post, the restaurant said that it chose not to renew its lease at the Village on the Parkway location.
“After an incredible run, we’ve made the decision not to renew our lease at STIRR Addison,” said the team.

Founded by Dallas-based operator Milkshake Concepts, the restaurant first gained attention with its flagship location in Deep Ellum in 2015. According to the Dallas Observer, the Deep Ellum location closed in 2025.
The hospitality group operates several other restaurants like Vidorra, The Finch, Saaya, and Serious Pizza. “STIRR in Deep Ellum closed in 2025 after deciding not to renew its lease there,” mentioned the report.
Even though short-lived, the STIRR left a remarkable impression on the Dallas food community.
