A Riley, Michigan-based generator service provider has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Premier Generator Service LLC has made this move while seeking to reorganize its finances.

Case filings indicate the company will retain control of its assets and continue operating under court supervision.

Premier Generator Service LLC Files for Chapter 11

The company made its bankruptcy filing on April 22, 2026. Company owner Steven Withrow signed the petition before it was submitted to the court. The case is being handled in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.

Case filings on RK Consultants state that it has met the criteria for a “small business debtor” and has decided to proceed under Subchapter V of Chapter 11. Subchapter V is designed to streamline the restructuring process for small businesses.

Filing on PacerMonitor describes the company as a debtor-in-possession, meaning it retains control of its operations despite facing Chapter 11 proceedings.

Filing details add that the company has listed several crucial financial documents in its petition. Included are a corporate ownership statement, a statement of operations, and a balance sheet.

According to its Facebook page, the Riley, MI-based company operates as a generator service provider for both residential and commercial customers. It is an authorized dealer for Generac and Briggs & Stratton. Offerings include 24/7 emergency and routine installation, service, and maintenance.
