Hunter’s Steak & Ale House

After 30 years in Bay Ridge, Hunter’s Steak & Ale House has closed its doors. The steakhouse was known for its lively atmosphere and English/Irish-style pub setting. The spot was a neighborhood favorite for casual dining and special occasions, making this closure even sadder.

The Brookdale went viral for its ‘Big Cheese’ food challenge. After six years in business, it announced its closure. The restaurant, a New Jersey staple in the broader NYC metro area, was known for its elevated comfort food and bold classics. Its lively atmosphere was another reason locals stopped by the spot.

Zaro’s Cafe
