Pillsbury Launches Funfetti Stars & Stripes Line

This year, the Fourth of July celebrations are reaching a new height as America celebrates its 250th birthday. To mark the milestone, several brands have begun releasing their patriotic collection like OREO. Pillsbury has released a new Funfetti “Stars & Stripes” baking line.

The new collection offers two cake mixes that are a perfect addition to the celebrations. According to PRNewswire, one is a sprinkle cake mix with colorful candy bits. The other is a red-and-white swirl cake mix that bakes into a patterned design.

The new lineup aims to help people easily bake their patriotic desserts for the occasion. These are limited-edition products and will add to Funfetti’s limited-edition playbook.

New Frosting Releases

To go along with the cake mixes, Pillsbury is also launching three colorful frostings. The frostings are designed for red, white, and blue-themed desserts and include matching sprinkles. Each container is enough for one standard cake or 24 cupcakes.

The products are already available for purchase in grocery stores. The white vanilla frosting is available nationwide; however, the red and blue vanilla frostings are sold exclusively at Walmart. The products will be placed on dedicated endcap displays at Walmart locations from May 2 through July 3 to maximize visibility.

Pillsbury’s Stars & Stripes Funfetti line leans into the growing trend of themed, limited-edition releases. Its easy-to-use mixes and festive frosting make it simple for customers to join the celebrations. It makes it easier for them to bring a patriotic touch to their Fourth of July desserts.
