CICOA Aging & In-Home Solutions to Conduct Mass Layoffs
CICOA Aging & In-Home Solutions filed a WARN notice with the Indiana Department of Workforce Development. The layoffs will impact approximately 90 employees. The impacted employees work at its facility at 8440 Woodfield Crossing in Indianapolis.
The mass layoffs follow the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration’s decision not to continue CICOA’s case management provider status. The decision resulted in a significant loss of government funding for the organization.
The layoffs are expected to begin May 15 and continue through July 31. According to the filing, the affected employees at the Marion County facility do not have transfer or displacement rights.
