A California-based budget clothing store has expansion plans near the thumb of the state.
It has been confirmed a new Ross Dress for Less location is coming to 2920 Tittabawassee Road in the city. The space was formerly JOANN Fabrics, which closed last year. An opening date has not been announced as the project is not yet listed online.
Ross Dress for Less has been expanding throughout the Great Lakes State in recent years, now with locations around Detroit, Flint and Lansing. The nearest store to the upcoming Ross is in Burton. The company first entered the state for expansion in 2023.
Those shopping at a Ross location can find many different clothing selections like men’s, women’s, shoes and apparel like handbags. Stores also sell home decor items like plants, mugs and kitchen items. Selections do not vary by store, and those shopping this summer can expect more seasonal products.
The address is in the plaza with Target, Staples and Once Upon a Child. A Bass Pro Shop is also on the left side of the parking lot. This is about a 10-minute drive northwest of downtown Saginaw.
