The Vietnamese restaurant chain Asian Box is set to open its doors to the Bay Area community in the second semester. According to a recent post on Asian Box’s Instagram, the restaurant will debut at 100 Corte Madera Town Center, Corte Madera, this Fall.
Founded in 2011 by Chad Newton and his wife, chef Gracie Nguyen, Asian Box is a California-based fast casual restaurant chain offering 100% gluten free, customizable Vietnamese-inspired street food made with fresh, sustainably sourced ingredients.
The chain features authentic recipes created by Gracie Nguyen, designed to be both healthy and 100% gluten free. Inspired by the tradition of Asian street stalls, often considered some of the earliest sustainable dining concepts, the company prioritizes support for local producers and sustainable agriculture whenever possible.
Popular menu items include The Workout, made with spicy chicken, brown rice, pickled vegetables, bean sprouts, steamed broccoli, fresh herbs, and tamarind sauce, as well as Chef Gracie’s Grandma’s Pho, a Vietnamese take on the classic bone broth soup featuring grilled chicken, rice noodles, and traditional pho accompaniments.
