In a recent Instagram post, the restaurant shared its “difficult decision” to close the longtime location ahead of a new chapter for the space.

The Daily Eats team reminisced about the memories built over the years at the neighborhood breakfast eatery.

“Daily Eats has meant so much to us over the years, and we know it has meant a lot to many of you too. We’ve watched first dates turn into families, regulars become friends, and this little restaurant become part of the neighborhood in a way we’ll never take lightly,” the post read.

The restaurant told customers the closure will not mark a permanent goodbye. The team at Daily Eats would stay together and preserve several menu favorites for its new endeavor at the same space.

Daily Eats to Reopen as ‘Meeting House’

The closure announcement confirms that Daily Eats will serve its last meal on June 15. Following a brief closure and renovation, the diner is set to reopen as “Meeting House.” The refreshed spot will center around lunch and dinner along with weekend brunch.

A part of the Ciccio Restaurant Group, Daily Eats has built its place in Tampa’s dining world through its signature breakfast offerings. Some of these menu items include steak & eggs bowl, New Yorker benedict, two egg sandwich, bacon cheeseburger, and more.

The restaurant has also offered catering services over the years.

The latest closure marks the end of an era for many Tampa diners who have often stopped by the breakfast spot for years. However, the planned reopening as “Meeting House” reflects the restaurant group’s effort to present a refreshed dining experience to the neighborhood while preserving elements cherished by longtime patrons.
