Michigan Avenue is not the only developing area of the suburb.

Members of the Dearborn community have been chatting online about a new concept called Bayroot Bakery coming to 6067 Greenfield Road. It joins the developing shopping plaza on the west side of the road. Co-owner Mohamad Sobh told What Now Detroit he is hoping to open the bakery in a month or later.

Sobh has not released a menu, but he said it will mainly be breakfast items. Pastries can be expected as it is a bakery, and from the name it will most likely serve Lebanese cuisine.

The bakery is coming to the plaza near the entrance ramp to Ford Road. YemeniUSA, a department store, is also located at this plaza. This is not far from the Fairlane Town Center Mall, accessible by heading west on Ford Road.

The bakery is seemingly Sobh’s first concept he is opening in the area, and Ali Sobh is also listed as one of the owners. The two have not yet made social media accounts for the new bakery, but more updates will be released as it gets closer to the opening.
