Get ready bargain hunters, because Marshalls is coming to Dadeland Station.

The discount store is opening on the fifth floor of Dadeland Station, located at 8312 S. Dixie Highway in Miami. Local realtor Lynley Ciorobea broke the news  on her YouTube channel. A call to the center’s property manager confirmed that Marshall’s was opening at the space formerly occupied by Dick’s Sporting Goods and Bed, Bath, and Beyond. An opening date has not been announced at this time.

Marshalls, Inc. is a chain of discount stores. It was founded in 1956, when Alfred Marshall and a team of businessmen started up a “brand name for less” concept store. Today, there are more than 1,000 locations throughout the U.S., Puerto Rico, and Canada. The company is owned by TJX, along with its sister companies T.J. Maxx, Homegoods, Homesense, and Sierra.

The company has leaned into its eclectic and ever-varying assortment of items for sale at any time by inviting shoppers to go on a treasure hunt for precious bargains. The result is that the stores have gone viral, with social media accounts dedicated to showcasing Marshalls finds such as a mirrorball lion and a highly discounted Tiffany & Co. handbag.
