For anyone who likes their lunch packed with grilled kabobs, warm pita, and Mediterranean flavors, Luna Grill has more Arizona growth on the menu.
The San Diego-based restaurant chain plans to open at least three additional Phoenix-area locations before the end of 2026, according to the Phoenix Business Journal.
New restaurants are expected in Tempe, Avondale, and north Phoenix, near the rapidly developing area surrounding TSMC’s semiconductor campus.
What Now Phoenix previously reported on a proposed Luna Grill location in north Phoenix as part of a planned retail development near Dove Valley Road.
The expansion follows Luna Grill’s entry into Arizona through locations in Mesa and Gilbert. Company leadership believes the Phoenix market offers significant room for future growth, with plans extending beyond the current openings.
Founded in 2004 by Sean and Maria Pourteymour, Luna Grill specializes in Mediterranean-inspired fast-casual dining. The menu features kabobs, bowls, salads, pitas, family meals, and other dishes prepared with a focus on fresh ingredients and made-to-order cooking.
The brand currently operates more than 50 locations across California, Texas, and Arizona.
While exact opening dates for the upcoming restaurants have not yet been announced, the company expects the new locations to debut before the end of 2026.
What Now Phoenix reached out to Luna Grill for additional details regarding the upcoming locations. This article may be updated as more information becomes available.
