Pinkbox Doughnuts, a Las Vegas-based doughnut chain operating across Southern Nevada and Utah, has introduced a new menu offering. The limited-time treat takes inspiration from the viral Dot Cake trend that has gained popularity across social media.
Dot Cake by Pinkbox Doughnuts Arrives for a Limited Time
Pinkbox Doughnuts announced the new Dot Cake in a recent Instagram post. Available through June 30, 2026, the product features a frosted, glazed vanilla cake doughnut topped with rainbow-colored nonpareils.
According to the company, the new item was inspired by the surge of social media videos featuring fans enjoying miniature Dot Cake desserts. Covered with nonpareils, the product offers a satisfying crunch.
The trend originally began with Dotcups sold by ‘The Dotcakes,’ a New York-based bakery. Since then, fans have created their own versions of the viral treat.
Pinkbox Doughnuts’ latest product is currently available at all of its 14 locations across Southern Nevada and Utah, and online for ordering.
The launch continues the company’s practice of incorporating popular cultural and social media trends into its menu. Last year, the company introduced a lineup of Labubu-inspired doughnuts.
