According to public filings, Gravy & More, the breakfast-and-brunch comfort food restaurant, is planning a new location at 2414 W. University Drive, Suite 118, in the retail center 380 Marketplace. What Now Dallas spoke with co-founder Michelle Bezanilla, who shared that the restaurant aims to open in early to mid-August, pending permits. The new space will be approximately 3,000 square feet.

Gravy & More’s offerings include biscuits and gravy, chicken and waffles, omelets, pancakes, burgers, sandwiches, and homestyle entrées. The restaurant operates as a scratch kitchen, preparing its signature gravy and core ingredients fresh in-house every day, allowing customers to order any item at any time. Gravy & More also serves a variety of coffee drinks and breakfast staples, while offering catering services for special events and gatherings.

The concept is led by siblings Michelle Bezanilla and Phil Hughes, who together are building the brand with a shared vision for growth and a family-driven approach. “We’re just a brother and sister duo that have big ambition to create a homestyle feeling and a living room vibe, so to speak,” Bezanilla told What Now Dallas.

The planned restaurant represents the next step in the brand’s growth, becoming its second location after establishing a presence in Red Oak. Gravy & More emphasizes a fun and energetic atmosphere designed to enhance the dining experience.

The menu is led by its signature “loaded gravy,” prepared fresh daily with ingredients such as bacon fat, roux, and cream. Bezanilla noted that the “gravy special” is the top-selling item, featuring eggs, meat, biscuit, and hash browns, while the concept also includes lunch offerings like a house-made Reuben sandwich and steak and eggs, which she said is especially popular among Texas diners.

The location in McKinney was selected due to the area’s rapid residential and commercial growth, as well as increasing demand for new dining concepts along the U.S. 380 corridor. While Bezanilla noted the area’s strong potential, she emphasized that the team is currently focused on executing their second location. “We’re pretty much focused on this second restaurant right now,” she said, adding that future expansion opportunities will be evaluated over time.
