Moxies is making its way to Frisco. According to public filings, the Canadian upscale casual dining chain plans to open a new location at 3680 The Star Blvd. in Collin County, with Eatz Hospitality listed as the tenant. The restaurant is known for its globally inspired menu, handcrafted cocktails, wine program curated by an in-house sommelier, and a lively atmosphere with spacious patios.
What Now Dallas reached out to Eatz Hospitality representatives to learn more about their plans for this location and opening timelines, but did not receive a response before publication. Construction is scheduled to start by the end of July and finish in early March 2027. The new location will span 12,971 square feet.
Born in Calgary in 1986 as a single family-owned restaurant, Moxies has grown into a premium casual dining brand with more than 59 locations across Canada and the United States, operating in states including Texas, Florida, Arizona, Massachusetts, and Washington D.C.
In 2016, Dallas was chosen as the brand’s first U.S. location, with restaurants later added in Plano, Southlake, and Houston. The Frisco outpost would mark the chain’s fifth Texas location and its fourth in the DFW area alone, reinforcing the brand’s stronghold in the market.
