Virginia sushi fans are getting a new opportunity to satiate their hunger for the delicious Japanese dish, in a fun and unusual way. Kura Revolving Sushi is bringing its whimsical dining to Glen Allen in the near future, reports Richmond BizSense.

The restaurant will be setting up its conveyor belts at 11331 W Broad Street, Suite 125 as part of the Short Pump Station shopping center. Kura is moving into the 3,200-square-foot space that previously housed Persis Indian Grill, bringing a decidedly different flavor to the neighborhood.

A definitive opening date is not yet available for Kura’s Glen Allen location-the website says only “coming soon”-however a representative has stated they’re hopeful the restaurant will be ready in the fall.

Kura Revolving Sushi offers a unique and interactive dining experience. Customers are invited to enjoy a futuristic meal, complete with conveyor belt delivery, robots, and prizes for returned plates. The concept is certain to become a new area favorite.
